Joint response PGS37
Energy Storage NL submitted a joint response to the public consultation for a new Hazardous Substances Publication (PGS37) on the fire safety of lithium batteries. To best represent our participants, input was collected through a webinar around this topic and written feedback. Thank you to all the organizations that provided ESNL with input.
In addition to ESNL's collective response, many companies responded individually. In total, hundreds of responses to the PGS37 have been received. Energy Storage NL is pleased that the voice of the broad energy storage sector has been strongly put down and hopes that this will be taken into account in the final publication. When more is known about the outcome of the consultation we will of course inform the participants.
Curious about ESNL's feedback ? Find it broken down into 13 points in the following document:

Security requirements for energy storage systems potentially have a major impact on companies' business cases. More of these trajectories will follow in the future, for example around storage of storage.
