Elestor wins offshore wind innovators award 2022

Unanimously, the jury and the public agreed: Elestor is the winner of the Offshore Wind Innovators 2022. TKI Wind at Sea organizes this award to reward innovative contributions of organizations to offshore energy transitions at sea.

Elestor's entry consisted of the idea and development of a power battery with hydrogen bromide. The jury found Elestor to be the most credible entry: "Elestor convinces with feasibility and entrepreneurship. The organization is already robust. Elestor is well advanced in the development of the power battery with bromine and hydrogen and the practical applicability is proven."

With a critical eye, nominees were evaluated on whether they make a credible and relevant contribution to the energy transition at sea. With the aim of finding a solution to achieve clean energy of 21 Gigawatts from the North Sea by 2030.

Elestor received two awards, taking home both the jury and audience awards.
