What do we offer participants?
As an Energy Storage NL (ESNL) participant, you become part of the leading national energy storage network. ESNL is actively committed to accelerating the energy transition by promoting the deployment of energy storage technologies. We offer our members not only visibility, but also direct influence on policy making, access to knowledge, collaboration in projects and a strong network in the sector.

Comprehensive listing of your organization on the ESNL website, including logo, link and profile. Members can also contribute to news releases by submitting press releases. - Networking and events
Access to exclusive networking events, knowledge sessions and workshops. These events offer valuable meetings with policy makers, entrepreneurs and knowledge institutions. - Policy Advocacy
Think and decide on ESNL's positions. We represent the joint interests of the sector to policy makers, including ministries and the House of Representatives. ESNL is in regular dialogue with the government on regulations, market development and subsidies. - Active working groups
Members can participate in various thematic working groups such as the Electricity Storage, Molecule Storage, Heat Storage, Market Information, Security and the Policy Sounding Board. - Access to knowledge and research
Members receive access to all relevant national and international reports, white papers and research in the field of energy storage. In addition, ESNL initiates its own research and pilots, the results of which are shared with members. - Knowledge sharing and updates
Regular newsletters with updates on laws and regulations, grant programs, technical developments, market insights and ESNL activities. We also send a policy update newsletter twice a year and a European policy newsletter - Use of the ESNL logo.
Members may use the ESNL logo on their own websites and communications materials, demonstrating their commitment to being at the forefront of the energy storage industry.
ENERGYNEST wants to make high temperature thermal storage better known and sees Energy Storage NL as a powerful network for lobbying and knowledge sharing. We will only get a subsidy like the SDE++ if we enter into discussions with EZK and RVO with several parties, which is why we also see a lot of value in membership.

The motivation to join Energy Storage NL came mainly from the desire to cooperate and exchange knowledge, especially towards The Hague. As a sector, we have a lot of ideas and good examples of how things can be done differently, how they can be more sustainable. As a company we can of course share our own insights, but it has much more impact if we do that as a collective. Together we can exchange best practices and act together towards policy makers.

Conditions of participation
- ESNL reserves the right to validate and/or deny participation of any applicant organization.
- The participant pays an annual participant fee (from January through December).
- Participant contributions must be paid within 30 days of invoice date.
- Participant agrees to provide ESNL with the mandatory number of employees at the organization each year. Failure to provide this information will result in ESNL basing the membership fee on public records of the company.
- Upon registration, the number of remaining calendar months of the current year will be charged pro rata.
- Participant agrees to publish their company information on the ESNL website.
- Notice of termination must be given in writing to ESNL at least 2 months before the end of the calendar year.
- Participants who join the umbrella business association FME in addition to ESNL will receive 50% discount on the FME rate in the first year.
- Banks, universities and consulting firms are assessed separately where deviations may be made from the above dues and conditions of membership.
- By registering, the participant agrees to these terms and conditions.
