Our goal

Right now we are throwing away a lot of green energy because the energy grid is overloaded. Meanwhile, the climate crisis is in full swing and the need to bring down Co2 globally is higher than ever. The demand for renewable energy is high. That's why we have a solution that contributes greatly to a sustainable world. From the Groningse Media Centrale we are working hard to contribute to a green world.

Here's what we're going to do

When the wind blows and the sun shines, windmills and solar panels provide green energy. But there is a big problem: The energy grid cannot transmit all this energy to households and industry. That's why windmills and solar panels are turned off. By storing the surplus of green energy, we create, as it were, a very large battery that can store much more energy than batteries, for example.

Our technology

At the proposed site in Zuidwending, if all permits are applied for and approved, we want to build a plant that can store energy and later pass it back to the energy grid. We hear you thinking; how can air produce energy? The comparison to a dynamo on your bicycle that causes your lights to come on is very similar to what we do. But with air. But how this works with stored air is something we would like to explain to you in detail.
