FlevoBESS B.V.

FlevoBESS aims to develop and operate a battery energy storage system of more than 31 megawatts.

The battery is realized next to and connected to the GDG (closed distribution system Green) in Dronten. FlevoBESS is an initiative of the certificate holders of the wind farms of XY Wind B.V., Windpark Flevo Ventum B.V. and Ansjovisstroom B.V., as well as the members of the Windshare Association. The said wind farms are part of eleven wind farms that make up Windplan Groen, a large-scale wind initiative developed with a government permit and currently under construction. In addition to the wind turbine lines, a 30 MW Solar Farm is connected to the GDS
