A core element of the strategy is to put sustainability at the center and help our clients transition to a sustainable and low-carbon future. The various customer teams together with the specialist sustainability teams focus on making this possible for customers.

One of these specialized teams is the Sustainable Structured Finance EMEA team (SSF), which focuses on innovative structured finance solutions for sustainable projects. These projects often revolve around new technologies and business models. Using these customized solutions, relationships can benefit, among other things, from limited impact on their balance sheet and risk allocation opportunities to Special Purpose Vehicles or Joint Venture partners. The SSF team has a focus on projects in the areas of solar, wind, circular plastics, geothermal, battery storage, biogas and water, but, with Sustainanble Investments, is also open to discussions on a variety of other sustainable projects with possible additional venture capital.
