V-Storage

V-Storage focuses on innovations in the field of energy storage. The company was founded by VDL Groep and Scholt Energy. Among other things, V-Storage uses old batteries from buses to form large battery systems for energy storage. By strategically charging these batteries, costs are saved and additional income can be generated through energy trading. In addition, the batteries can be used as reserve capacity to relieve the electricity grid.

V-Storage's first battery - on VDL ETG's site in Eindhoven - went into operation in May 2017. V-Storage can provide similar storage systems for other parties and can also take care of energy trading.
