Demonstration project optimal control renewable energy

The aim of the project is to demonstrate that (battery) energy storage in combination with demand response enhances the efficiency of decentralized renewable energy supply including the consumption of a large pig farm and therefore adds value to intermittent energy sources. Demonstration raises awareness that energy storage and demand response is crucial and successful for the transition to a sustainable energy system and demonstration accelerates market development enabling Dutch companies both nationally and internationally to make a difference within the transition to a sustainable energy system.
