First neighborhood battery combined with solar farm

A 1.2 megawatt solar farm combined with energy storage is being built near Weert. The project by WeertEnergie, Scholt Energy, SEAC and Soltronergy is the first in the Netherlands to combine a cooperative neighborhood battery with large-scale local generation of renewable energy. The parties have entered into a cooperation agreement for the realization of this innovative project. This was recently signed by the cooperating parties.
