Greenparc Energy

The purpose of the project is twofold:

1. Proving in practice that (battery) energy storage enhances the efficiency of decentralized sustainable energy supply and is therefore of added value for intermittent energy sources. The project raises awareness that energy storage is crucial for the transition to a sustainable energy system and accelerates market development, enabling Dutch companies both nationally and internationally to make a difference within the transition to a sustainable energy system.
2. Putting the prosumer in the position of energy supplier, starting from the total portfolio of energy demand at all sites and connected employees, energy production from the total solar farm and buffer capacity at one of the sites. These three elements are 'real-time' weatherized on the Dutch energy markets with the objective of optimally deploying renewable energy.
