Lion Storage is a Dutch developer of battery storage systems enabling the global energy transition. We develop, build, transfer, co-invest and operate large-scale stand-alone energy storage projects.

Our projects focus on the development of conventional Lithium-Ion battery systems, larger than 50 MW and durations of 2-4 hours. The company is developing a pipeline of projects in the Netherlands and is in advanced discussions with landowners and grid operators to secure land and grid connection for its first two 100MW+ systems.

The company builds on partnerships with tier-1 suppliers, service providers, advisors, and investors. That way we can both expedite the development process, while minimizing development risk. Having founded and managed several companies in The Netherlands and Southeast Asia in both renewable energy and high-tech industries, Lion Storage management has extensive experience in venture building, origination, finance, construction, and operations.
